The 17 communities that consisted of Gush Katif (Gush means ‘bloc’ in Hebrew), plus the 4 from Northern Shomron that were destroyed are now scattered throughout Israel.

Here is a map that shows where the families of Gush Katif lived in relation to where they are today.

The majority of the families of Gush Katif are living in temporary communities throughout Israel. Each of these communities has created a different plan for permanent relocation.
