Women’s Festival Salutes JobKatif

On Monday, August 23rd Orna M. will commemorate the memory of her daughter Henya, in a way that promises to uplift even the most forlorn spirits.

Orna has coordinated a Women’s Festival in the Ben Shemen Forest (near Modi’in) featuring the well-known inspirational speaker, Rebbetzin Yemima Mizrachi, a drum circle, dance party  and various products on sale from businesses and artists from Gush Katif.

The organizers–mainly Orna and another daughter– are expecting between 1,000-2,000 women to attend. Such a large crowd is bound to give a boost to product sales from the Gush Katif business owners.  Products will include beautiful ceramic housewares, jewelery, creams and lotions, spices, sweets, gift baskets for Rosh HaShana, organic produce, honey, wine, and more!

The event will begin at 15:00 and will last until the evening hours.

Open to the female public.

Entrance fee: 60nis/70nis at the door

Enter through Tel Hadir gate of Ben Shemen Forest, at the commemoration site of the Maintenance Infantry.
