There are twenty-two families from Gush Katif who now reside in the beautiful community of Moshav Avnei Eitan in the Golan Heights. These families have chosen to establish businesses in the industries that have the most earning potential in the Golan Heights: Education, Tourism and Agriculture.
Sarah Avraham, originally from California, was displaced from Gush Katif. She has opened her cabin "Eden M'Kedem" with business counseling from JobKatif.
Moshav Avnei Eitan now hosts a series of top quality Bed & Breakfast cabins (called tzimmerim). These cabins are the perfect solution for large families who enjoy the outdoors or a couple who want some cozy time together.
Lodging options range from luxury cabins with jacuzzi and plasma television to bunk beds for 4-6, with a play area. All cabins have yards, central air conditioning and plenty of fresh air!
Recreational options in the area include: a petting zoo, biking, jeeping, hiking, swimming in the spring, berry picking, archery and more.
